Our good friend, Phuc Tran let us follow him around for the day to see what it's like to be a classicist, tattooer, motorcycle enthusiast, husband, and father. Over the years he's stuck out to us as a friend who is always living and working with integrity, always staying true to himself. The core values we've built our brand on.
While he owns and operates Tsunami Tattoo in Portland ME, He's also very passionate about teaching. Phuc has taught Latin, Greek, German, and Sanskrit at independent schools in New York and Maine and was an instructor at Brooklyn College's Summer Latin Institute.
Mentally and physically, Phuc is constantly fine tuning, it's important to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself to take the road less traveled, "it's our natural disposition to avoid doing the hard things."
