THE BEACH IS A TRAINING GROUND... |PHYSICAL|

Muay Thai is known as "the art of eight limbs" because it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. It is a physical and mental discipline known to make a full-contact fighter very efficient. We recently started training alongside a group of Muay Thai fighters in our neighborhood a few nights a week and quickly made friends with one new up & comer, Dionys Dume. Under the intense training and coaching of former competitive-fighter Xavi Ramos, Dionys has been working toward his next bout coming up late July in New York (stay tuned for details). We've been so fascinated by his physical and mental skills (and let's be honest, the cool ass shorts) that we begged him to take a day off from the dojo to come put in some work with us at the beach. Also along for the ride was our good buddy and pro boxer, Kevin Cobbs. Before we knew it, side by side shadowboxing turned into some light sparring, each of them learning something from the other through their diverse techniques. Check out some moves from our shoot below..
